Privacy Policy

Ace The Verbal provides SAT Reading and Writing preparation through a public website, app-style dashboard, and mobile apps. This policy explains the information handled by those services.

Information we collect

When account features are enabled, we may collect account identifiers such as email address, user ID, display name, authentication provider, and subscription status. The app may save study progress, product interactions, answers, achievements, known words, root status, reminders, score estimates, diagnostic results, practice/test progress, missed questions, game history, purchase state, and app settings.

The mobile apps use Firebase services for authentication, analytics, cloud sync, diagnostics, and crash reporting; Google Sign-In when selected; Google Play Billing or Apple's in-app purchase system for subscriptions and purchases; and Google Mobile Ads for ads and consent/privacy options. The website uses Google Analytics through the Google tag to understand page views and product events such as pricing views, diagnostic starts, practice/test starts, and game starts. The current static web preview stores guest progress in your browser using localStorage.

Depending on your device, settings, consent choices, and how you use the service, providers may process email address, user ID, device ID, advertising data, product interaction data, coarse location inferred from signals such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, app version, performance data, crash data and crash logs, other diagnostic data, customer support messages, purchase product identifiers, subscription status, and consent/privacy choices.

App Store privacy categories

For Apple App Store privacy disclosures, Ace The Verbal may collect these data types: Email Address, User ID, Device ID, Coarse Location, Customer Support, Product Interaction, Advertising Data, Crash Data, Performance Data, and Other Diagnostic Data. These data types may be linked to your identity when account, app, analytics, ads, support, billing, or diagnostics providers associate them with your account, device, app instance, purchase, or support request.

The data types used for tracking, as Apple defines tracking for apps and websites owned by other companies, are Coarse Location, Device ID, Product Interaction, Advertising Data, and Performance Data. These tracking uses are tied to Google Mobile Ads, analytics, ad measurement, consent choices, and related advertising technologies where ads are enabled and permitted.

How we use information

We use information to provide learning features, save progress, estimate score ranges, show review queues, manage subscriptions, restore purchases, improve content, troubleshoot issues, measure website and app performance, prevent abuse, maintain security, comply with platform requirements, and communicate with you when you contact us. We do not sell personal information.

Payments

Android purchases are handled through Google Play Billing. Apple purchases are handled through Apple's in-app purchase system. Web checkout buttons may be prepared for a secure checkout provider. Payment card or wallet details should be processed by the relevant store or checkout provider, not by Ace The Verbal's static website files.

Advertising and analytics

The mobile apps may show ads through Google Mobile Ads. Where permitted by law, platform policy, and your consent choices, ads may be personalized or measured using signals such as device ID, advertising data, product interactions, performance data, coarse location, app usage, and advertising identifiers. Where required, the app provides Google consent and privacy options so you can manage personalized ads and related choices. If you decline or limit consent, ads may still appear but should be less personalized.

The website asks for analytics consent before sending Google Analytics events from site interactions. Google and related processors may receive device, browser, usage, and approximate location signals according to their own policies and controls when analytics or advertising is allowed.

Data sharing

We may share information with service providers that help operate the app and website, including Firebase/Google services, Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, hosting providers, analytics and crash reporting providers, authentication providers, and payment processors. These providers process information according to their terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer.

Data storage and your choices

Guest dashboard data in the web preview is stored locally in your browser and can be cleared by clearing site data. Local app data can be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. Account-backed data, when enabled, may be stored with the authentication, analytics, billing, hosting, or cloud providers used to operate the service. If you delete your account, cloud learning progress and local account data are removed, but server-owned purchase, entitlement, transaction, purchase-token, fraud-prevention, rate-limit, tax, accounting, and legal compliance records may be retained as needed to honor purchases, restore access, prevent abuse, and meet store or legal obligations.

You can choose not to create an account and can use guest access where available. You can restore purchases from the You page, manage ad privacy choices when the option is shown, or delete your account to remove cloud progress and local account data from this device. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy help where applicable.

Children

Ace The Verbal is intended for SAT preparation users and is not directed to children under 13. Students under the age of majority should use the service with parent or guardian involvement. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for the service, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

International users

The service is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy as account, payment, analytics, advertising, platform, or app features change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
